Heather Chatfield has over 20 years of experience as both a Licensed Physical Therapist and a Licensed Acupuncturist.

She completed her Physical Therapy training at Northeastern University and her acupuncture training at The New England School of Acupuncture (NESA).  She has been in private practice, integrating physical therapy and acupuncture since graduating from NESA.

Her knowledge base has been continually evolving. In 1997 she trained in Chinese herbal
medicine with Ted Kaptchuck and traveled to Hangzhou China to study at the Zhejiang College
of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Her own personal experiences with pregnancy and labor in 1998, added a depth to her work
with pre- and post-partum women and their children.

In 2003 she studied Kinesiological muscle testing and Neuromodulation Technique with
Les Fineberg and incorporated these elements into her practice.

In 2007 and 2008, she studied Western Herbal medicine at the Boston School of Herbal Studies.
This study enhanced her existing knowledge of herbs and the effects they may have.  It also
brought a level of knowledge allowing clients to experience herbs they may find in their own yard.

Her initial training in orthotics was in 1995, and evolved to the present day method in 2010. In 2011 she began refining her
myofascial release, and craniosacral therapy skills by studying with John Barnes.
